July 29, 2018- ESFF @ K-Days Film Fest. THANK YOU to everyone who came out to enjoy the 23 films created by the participants in the 48-Hour Mobile Device Filmmaking Challenge.
The Edmonton Short Film Festival, in partnership with K-Days, is pleased to announce the following winners of the Challenge. The top two winning films for Excellence and the top Marketed film have WON their way into the Edmonton Short Film Festival gala on October 13. In addition, two films received honourable mention. These filmmakers will receive weekend passes to the Edmonton Short Film Festival (October 12 & 13).
WINNERS for Excellence: Deadline by Lutz Papenfuss and Flowers for Sam by Paul Studiman. WINNER for Marketing: Undying by Christina Estillore. HONOURABLE MENTION: Excellence and Marketing: A Daughter’s Journey by Darrell Portz. HONOURABLE MENTION: Most creative use of the secret elements: Some People’s Belts by Harley Myhovich.
