Volunteering at the Edmonton Short Film Festival is a great way to meet new people and have fun!
The festival is a two-day event over one weekend so you will only need to commit a few hours of your time to make a BIG difference. Volunteers are given passes to attend the VIP After-Party (because you are definitely VIPs!) and free admission to all of our other events year-round.
Here are some things you could be doing:
- Set up/take down
- Adjudication (film production experience required)
- Front of House (taking tickets)/Collecting and counting ballots for Peoples’ Choice Award
- Ticket Sales/VIP Table
- Making and serving popcorn/hors d’oeuvres
- Social media
- Photography/Videography
- Volunteer Management
- Security
