The Edmonton Short Film Festival is presenting 6th annual Filmmakers Skills Class on September 22, 2018 from 10am to 3pm at The King’s University9125 50 St NW, Edmonton. We are grateful to ATB and the Alberta Media Professional Industry Association (AMPIA) for their contribution to this event. It is because of their generosity that we are able to provide this event to you at such a low cost.

The 2018 event will include discussions about copyright, production line management, funding, financing and, pre-production planning. The three workshops (producing basics; legal/accounting and finance/distribution) will be led by local industry professionals Katrina Beatty (producer), Linda Callaghan (entertainment lawyer), Giilbert Allan (producer/director/actor), Rick Minhas (accountant), Carson Mayer (ATB Arts Branch), Chris Roberts (Edmonton Arts Council), and representatives from Alberta Culture.
